Harvested in early spring from 950 to 1,830 meters on the renowned Margaret’s Hope Estate in Kurseong, this FTGFOP1 First Flush is made from clonal Camellia sinensis sinensis bushes. Margaret’s Hope Tea Estate was established in the 1830s, commercially operating from 1864. Originally named Bara Ringtong, it was renamed in the 1920s after the owner’s daughter, Margaret, who tragically died returning to England.
