This second flush tea reveals the estate's commitment to sustainable practices, producing a sophisticated cup brimming with muscatel richness, floral top notes, and a gentle peach finish. The dark leaves, tipped with silver, yield a vibrant amber-red liquor with a soft yet complex mouthfeel.

The FTGFOP1 (s) grade(S) stands for Special, making the full grade SFTGFOP1, which translates to “Special Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe One”. This indicates:

  • Special: A step above FTGFOP grades—exceptionally limited, top-tier selections

  • Finest Tippy: A high-quality pluck with abundant golden-tipped buds selected during the peak of the second flush season for superior quality

  • Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe: Whole-leaf black tea with floral character and golden tips

Brewing

Pre-heat a cup or teapot. Use 1 tsp per cup or 1 rounded tsp per person for a teapot. Pour freshly boiled water over the leaves and infuse for 3-5 minutes. Add milk or sweetener as desired.
