Terms and conditions
For on-line purchases we accept credit card payments only at this time: either Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
Payments by credit card
While on-line orders go directly to our warehouse for immediate processing, credit card orders arranged by phone, fax or mail take a little longer and will not be processed until payment has been confirmed.
Payments by cheque
Cheque payments are accepted for orders placed by phoned, fax or mail. However, the processing and dispatch of these orders will not take place until cheques are cleared.
Shipping fees and times
Please see our shipping page for details of national and international shipping charges. Targeted shipping times are based on third party service providers such as New Zealand Couriers for New Zeland delivery and New Zealand Post and international delivery. Delivery times are therefore indicative only as once sent they are out of t leaf T's control.
Due to the astronomical price increase of shipping to PO Boxes, we are no longer able to send to PO Boxes
Delivery of orders
On-line credit card orders will normally be dispatched on the same day, or the next working day.
Phone and mail orders
Orders arranged by phone or mail may also be paid for by credit card, but will not be processed until payment has been confirmed. Dispatch will normally be same day, or within 1-2 working days of this.
Mail and phone orders being paid for by direct deposit will be filled once the correct payment has been received and cleared. Dispatch will usually be same day, or within 1-2 working days of this.
Returns, exchanges tand refunds
If your choice turns out to be not quite what you had in mind - send it back to us (unopened) within one week of receipt and we'll happily swap it or provide a refund. The cost of getting the goods back to us is yours, but we cover the cost of sending any replacement back to you.

We do not provide any third parties with your personal details unless absolutely required as part of the order fulfilment process (banks or courier companies for example).

Your contact information (name, e-mail and delivery address) and billing details, (credit card number and expiry date) are needed for t leaf T to create your account and to process and deliver your orders.
Credit card information
Your credit card details have the security offered by payment express and this website using industry-standard 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. This prevents information from being intercepted and protects your credit card number when we store your order. Credit card details are sent directly to the bank via payment express for processing. No actual card data is held or used by t leaf T Ltd.
A cookie is a small amount of account data stored on a customer's hard drive containing information about their use of our web site. It may be used to make future site visits easier. For example, a cookie allows us to provide better on-line shopping facilities. Cookies containing records of past orders may allow features to be added to the site like easy re-ordering, allowing you to review items you have purchased previously, and enabling us to recommend other items you may be interested in based on apparent tastes and preferences.

The type of information we might ask for includes tea preferences, drinking occasions and demographic information (such as age and gender), geographical location or satisfaction ratings. Survey information may be used for monitoring or improving our products and services. Combined for analysis, this information will not be traced back to any individual customer.
