We have got great shipping rates. Tracked Courier delivery is from a flat $5.00 nationwide and usually takes 1-2 business days from the date of dispatch. Orders placed by 3pm New Zealand time are usually shipped the same business day. See our New Zealand delivery options below.

Rural delivery (tracking to rural depot and insured) $7.50

Free shipping

Orders of $60 or more addressed to a physical location within the contiguous NZ qualify for free shipping.

Australian orders

Orders addressed for delivery to Australia ship Tax Free saving 15% of listed prcices. Teas or infusions being shipped to Australia which contain seeds, nuts, fruits, citrus pieces or flowers may be stopped from entering Australia by Australian Customs and are purchased at the customers’ own risk. Please also see additional information regarding international orders below.

International orders

International orders shop Tax Free saving 15% of listed prcices. If your order is being delivered to an international destination then your order is an international order. The process is the same as for New Zealand orders but there are some key difference that we answer here.

Declared value

Postal regulations in New Zealand, and for parcel insurance rules, mean that we must declare the true and correct value of your order.

Currency converter on this site

The currency converter used on this website is an estimate which is updated daily. You may choose any of the currencies to shop with us but we process orders in New Zealand dollars which means your order confirmation will appear in New Zealand dollars, not the currency you chose.

Customs duty and taxes

When an order goes to a country other than New Zealand you could be charged duties and taxes that are beyond our control. You should check on any possible taxes or duties that the destination country has in place before you order.

Country border controls for tea products

There may be importation restrictions that we are unaware of in certain countries and we cannot guarantee that certain teas will be allowed entry into certain countries. Australian customers should be particularly aware of this and we do not recommend ordering any herbal infusions or teas with citrus peels or seeds of any kind into Australia.

If a tea is imported that does not meet a customs requirements then the product could be heat treated at the importers expense or destroyed. We recommend that customers refer to their governments’ importation guidelines. We can also be contacted at orders@tleaft.co.nz and we will advise if we are aware of any issues relating to the relevant country.

You can expect that items will usually arrive at the destination within the timeframe specified. We cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the target delivery time. Delivery to areas outside major cities or where the item is dutiable or held by customs may take longer.
